Emergency Medical and Fire Protection Services

The Saint Charles Countryside Fire Protection District encompasses over 34 square miles surrounding the City of St. Charles. The district includes portions of Campton Township, Wayne Township and St. Charles Township within Kane and Du page Counties in the State of Illinois.

The District provides its emergency medical and fire protection services through an agreement with the Fire Department of the city of St. Charles, Illinois. Ambulance services are provided through an intergovernmental agreement with the cities of Batavia, Geneva and St. Charles and the Fire Protection Districts of Batavia and Geneva.

The District sets policy and manages its affairs with a five member Board of Trustees consisting of a President, Treasurer and Secretary. It engages its constituents through a Citizen Advisory Committee.
